So, because I’m crazy, I’m continuing to use Google Calendar… even though it doesn’t give me a non-xml outlet for my public entries, like 30boxes does – don’t get me wrong, I love 30boxes – but I admit that 30boxes is still a TEENY bit glitchy and I just have this feeling that GC will be a little more sturdy, being OH SO public and all. You know?
So, because I’m crazy (like I said), I cobbled this together for May…
It was easy to do. I probably need to decide whether to create a new post category for ‘calendar’ or ‘schedule’ or some such thing, or else I can just stick this at the bottom of my status page. Now, that ain’t a half bad idea. But if I make blog entries out of it, I can archive it.
And I’ve been having this crazy idea about how to archive my blogs before any bad data lossy things happen to them. (I know that sounds a little like I think of blogs as jpegs but I don’t, it makes sense, just think how many hard drive crashes you’ve had in the past five years and you use a mac…)
It’s all well and good – it doesn’t list details, which suddenly annoys me. It’s cute after its fashion, I guess, that’s all.
I thought of just posting images of my ‘agenda’ view in Flickr, but it still wouldn’t be interactable. What is this craziness? You can’t view a Google Calendar feed unless you have Google Calendar? That hurts my head and is mean.
I suppose it could just be very early in the morning.
Meh. Come on, guys. You can’t view a Google calendar without an account? Be serious.
