Okay.
The laptop shipping box won’t fit.
I could ship the laptop in the shipping box, I can’t tell you how nervous that makes me, people ship laptops overseas all the time, it happens all the time, it happens all the time. It happens all the time.
If I do that, then I have enough room left in my large suitcase and Aunt Cheryl’s backpack for the rest of my clothes and wrapped electronics. And probably some bath stuff, but I think I’m going to end up leaving an awful lot of it here. I can use other bath stuff for a little while. I won’t be completely happy, but I won’t be stinky, and that’s what counts to the folks who want to see me when I get home! Hee!
I am so scared to ship my laptop.
Someone make me feel better about shipping my laptop, please, please.
If it’s not in the bag, if it’s just the laptop, I bet the shipping costs will be a lot lighter for fast shipping. I would need to get it to Texas at least by the day after I get home – I have to have it to update my desktop and keep my workflow going.
I told Marty about the no electronics, no liquids, no books, no anything regulations that I kept reading about and he exclaimed in horror. I know, it’s amazing, it’s obscene, it makes no sense! Could I possibly have been getting all of this wrong?? Unless I buy a book in the airport, I’m going to walk onto that seven hour flight with nothing to occupy me??
I might have to actually talk to the person sitting beside me. Crap! I’m not prepared for conversation!
Man, what a night.
