Well, Holy Shit.

You know, I couldn’t even believe I’d made it as far as the stage – descended upon by the press – live television and radio and people scribbling away on notepads… but then I placed second! I am completely overwhelmed and still processing. So much has happened, and I intend to write down every single tiny detail!

Everyone who has sent their love and support (and stayed up all night waiting to hear from me, my beautiful boy!), I am so grateful, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it, people thinking of me and praying and using their witchy powers with me in mind, thank you so so much, look what you helped me do!! I love you all so much!

I promise there will be more here soon; I’m just trying to think how to get it all down!

  Miss R tells me that she is vaguely connected with the person who came first (something to do with a nearby neighbour having coached her for years on end when she was growing up) and says that the person who came first is someone who's had success for a very long time, and is a veteran of Eisteddfods. So for you to come second on your first go over here, is an amazing achievement. I shall be boasting about you for weeks on end over here ;-)
