(as they say over here) Miss R tells me that she is vaguely connected with the person who came first (something to do with a nearby neighbour having coached her for years on end when she was growing up) and says that the person who came first is someone who's had success for a very long time, and is a veteran of Eisteddfods. So for you to come second on your first go over here, is an amazing achievement. I shall be boasting about you for weeks on end over here ;-) Congratulations!
