So… When was the last time you told yourself you could do something?
When was the last time you declared that, even against overwhelming odds, you were equal to the task? I know all of this bullshit about having low expectations. But of yourself? When you occupy a body that performs miracles daily? Have you looked in the mirror lately? Do you understand what goes on in there?
No, I guess you don’t. I guess none of us do. No one ever mentioned it, right?
When was the last time you said to yourself… “Fuck! I am going to do this impossible thing!” When was the last time you said it to everybody else?
You are the one with power over you. Not them. Not it. Not any of those other people.
If you tell yourself you are useless, you absolutely, positively, no doubt about it, are. Do you really want to pretend you don’t hold any power over that?
It’s incredible the things we don’t do because we’re certain we can’t. The odds, they’re shocking. If I had money to place bets… My profits would be unequivocally amazing.
