Daniel Gilbert reminds me of Todd—quippy, brilliant, very rocket scientist attractive. (Brains, man.) And so when I was listening to Gilbert’s Interactive lecture from SXSW 2006, cursing the fates for having missed it (and his subsequent appearance in 2007, still before I knew who he was), I already felt a friendliness and familiarity with the sound of his voice. For this reason, I may be biased towards the recording, but I’m going to suggest you take a listen anyway. It’s (inimitably?) awesome.

As a side note, I’m also a couple chapters into Stumbling on Happiness, though I’ve paused while I work out some odd related issues. So far it’s a really, really great read.
