Tomorrow’s Shopping List
by Megan M. on March 15, 2007 (Blog) |
So, there’s this one mailing list that, no matter how concerned and anxious I get about following the posting rules, I just can’t seem to use properly. Every time I’ve posted I’ve done something wrong—left too many quotes at the bottom, completely missed the monthly rules distribution, created a new message by responding to something else and changing the subject line. I have this huge worry issue over this one mailing list and I can’t for the life of me imagine why it has me so cowed. It’s just a silly sort of freak-out attachment; it makes no sense, and it’s certainly not doing me any good. I wonder what will happen next?
What was I talking about? Grocery shopping. I’m feeling a lot better after sleeping most of the day and skipping out on Whole Foods dinner tonight (cry!), but I’m still going to need more colloidal silver if I want to keep getting healthier and there’s almost nothing edible in the kitchen. I think tomorrow it will be HEB 41st… you know, until I can afford to tryst with Whole Foods regularly.
Whole Foods… mmmm…
I’ve had a few brief communications with the Boss Ladies—Emira Mears and Lauren Bacon at Boss Lady dot ca and Alex Beauchamp. They all found me via Flickr, which gives me all kinds of glee. We all know how much I love Flickr—and now that I’ve finished with my conventional stalkage and harvested all their RSS feeds, I’m looking forward to staying in touch. That panel made me feel good. And it’s part of the reason I’ve been so excited this week… part of the reason there are going to be some dramatic changes around here.
God, that’s going to be interesting.
Despite being sick I’ve been incredibly productive. Getting up takes a lot of energy but lying on the couch with my laptop seems to treat me just fine. SXSWi left me with a picture in my head of the way things want to be. This picture’s been pretty elusive for the last few years, but it’s coming into focus… it’s such a great feeling. I love it. It’s that moving forward feeling.
I want fruit, veggies, cottage cheese, some slow-cook oatmeal…
