Does this strike anyone else as particularly alarming?

  We need to all make a pact never to allow this to happen to any of us. Too freaky. I promise not to let your only companion be a talking doll, if you promise not to let my only companion be a talking doll........ I suppose the only exception would be if the doll were a mocked up walkie-talkie, and Jon Stewart was on the other end drafting personalized schtick just for me. That would be okay. ^_^
